The Wabash College Department of Philosophy invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2025. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in philosophy at the time of appointment. The teaching load is 3/3. The candidate will be expected to co-teach two interdisciplinary seminar courses in philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE) in addition to teaching a course in the philosophy of commerce and additional courses in ethics or social/political philosophy at the intermediate and advanced undergraduate levels. Ability to teach environmental philosophy will be considered a strong asset. The co-taught, interdisciplinary seminars in PPE include one section of the course that introduces students to the PPE major and one section of the major’s capstone senior seminar.
